Sundown is a blend of grapes from Yakima, Washington and Montana. It's comparable to a White Zinfandel, though somewhat sweeter. I think the color is more of a peach, than a rose, and does remind me a bit of the sunset colors in Big Sky country. While I'm still learning the subtleties of writing a review, I do like this wine. I tend to like wines more toward the sweeter side, than the dry side. As a semi-sweet, I think this wine has a good balance for a table wine. Swirling in the glass, it has a good amount of staying power. It doesn't stay like a syrup, but it doesn't vanish like water either. The aroma is pleasant, and it is definitely flavorful. While not a heavy flavor, it does last for a while on the tongue. At the same time, it's not so delicate that you wonder if it has a flavor at all. Paired with a dinner that has some flavor to it, I think this wine could hold it's own, and not get lost, but not be overwhelming either. Sundown is a less than $10US wine. I'd rate it as worth the cost, and worth buying another bottle sometime in the future.
